Flying Journey Link to heading
I started flying in 2007 as an Air Cadet in school. I flew Grob 109 Motorgliders from Newtownards (EGAD) and had a trip to RAF Woodvale (EGOW) to fly in a Grob Tutor T1.
My PPL journey started with the Ulster Flying Club, also located in Newtownards, flying the Cessna 172 & Tecnam P2002. We flew around Northern Ireland, Scotland and Isle of Man.
In March 2014 a club 172 was based in Spain, giving us the opportunity to fly around Andalucía and log some landings in Granada and Seville.
Starting early 2016, I completed an ATPL(A) at FTE Jerez flying the Piper PA28 and Diamond DA42.
In 2017 I completed an Airbus A320 type rating and have flown the A320, A321, A320neo, A321neo LR and A321neo XLR variants.

I wrote my own logbook application in 2019 and have been slowly adding historical flight data to it.
I have over 3,500 hours in the A320 though flights before 2020 aren’t logged yet.
Simulator sessions have been logged since the start of 2026, mostly to make the heatmap look more colourful - see below!
The content below update every 3 hours from logbook data.
